I will not spend much time telling you about Nimal's careful driving, excellent English and comprehensive knowledge of his country. Instead, I will tell you something much more important - Nimal is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. He is not only professional, but also patient, kind and compassionate. He will transform your Sri Lanka holiday into one of the most memorable experiences of your life and I cannot praise him highly enough. You will not be disappointed with Nimal as your driver - he is absolutely amazing!
Nimal was recommended by a friend and he lived up to his reputation. He put together a great tour of the key places of interest in Sri-Lanka but was very happy to vary the itinery during the visit when we wanted to do other things. He was very knowledgable about SL history and fauna and found expert guides when we wanted them at some of the great sites. His driving was great, careful and very safe in some of the chaotic city areas. He was always there when we needed him and he looked after us throughout the tour. Thank you very much for the best 6 days in our 3 months travel! Sri Lanka is amazing - and you showed us everything that was worth to see in Sirigirya, Kandy and Hikkaduwa. We have experienced sooo many things - and we are so glad about that we chose you as our personal guide! Sirigirya Rock, Elephant-riding, elephant-safari, divergent temples, spice garden, local dance and botanic garden i Kandy. Tea-Factory, baby-elephant park, turtles, lagoon-safari, the moonstone (how they produce them) and the buddism-festival in Hikkaduwa.
You are always in time(!!), helpful, kind, funny - and last but defiantly not at least - a good driver! They are driving like crazy as we told you, but we always felt safe about being in your car. We have now been in 9 different countries and we are often talking about this trip and we always end up saying: "Sri Lanka was amazing" - and we have no idea how Sri Lanka had been if we didn't know you?? That is difficult to see all the good and exiting things in Sri Lanka if you don't have a personal guide. Thus you gave us a very good price!
We enjoyed every single minut in Sri Lanka. Even though the weather wasn't that good. It has been wonderful to experience the Sri Lankan culture, different religions, the beautiful nature and the way of living. You could tell us a lot about the Sri Lankan history, which was great! Sri Lanka is not a common country for backpacking three young guys, but we really don't regret that we did it! Not a lot of people can say that they have been to Sri Lanka - but we can and we enjoyed it. That is your honor, Nimal!
We wish you the best and hope that tourists are all choosing you as their guide. We will defiantly recommend you to the Danish people and our friends abroad - if we hear some of them will visit Sri Lanka!
