Following the success of the Spice Food Festival 2009, Sri Lanka will once again host the ‘World Spice Food Festival’ in 2010. The Festival will be held from the 14th to 24th of July 2010, will host 15 top signature chefs from countries like China, India, Indonesia, Italy, Korea, Egypt, Malaysia, Philippines, South Africa, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.Others special activities include the Sri Lankan Chili Crab cooking competition, spiced tea promotion, and the decorative spice ice cream promotion. The World Spice Food Festival (Public event) will be held on the 16th, 17th, and 18th of July 2010 at Green Path in Colombo.
